1. Why are we
using a new registration method?
To prevent incurring heavy penalties, our online
credit card payment process must meet the Payment Card
Industry Security Standard (PCI). Cvent, the vendor AGA
Richmond is using to process credit cards, has Tier 1
PCI Certification.
2. How do I
register?
There are two ways to register:
a) Email
Invitation
When you receive an emailed invitation to an event,
select Yes, you will attend. You will be prompted to
provide your contact information.
Payment:
You can pay at the time you regsiter by credit card,
send the payment request to another person by email, or
mail AGA Richmond a check.
Confirmation:
If you have succesfully registered, you will
receive a confirmation email.
b) From the AGA
Richmond website
AGA Richmond will post a link to register on our
website: www.agarichmond.org. You will be taken to
Cvent’s registration page.
3. How do I pay
online?
During your online registration, you will be able to
pay the event fees online using any credit card. You
will be prompted to provide your credit card
information.
4. Can my
procurement officer pay for multiple people at one time?
There is a group registration option. Your group
registration method depends on what the procurement
officer prefers.
a) Register
individually, but defer payments to the Agency.
Note: Entering Credit Card Information is required for
each registrant this way.
• Select Yes on the invitation
• Provide your contact information.
• Be sure to provide the email address of the person
making the payment as shown below.

• When you get to the payment page, please select “My
Agency will make the Payments”

b) Have one
person register and pay for everyone at the same time
Note: Credit card information will only have to be
entered once.
• Anyone can add additional registrants by
registering the first person and selecting Add Person
before selecting Next as shown below.

5. If I
register for an event but can’t make it, do I still have
to pay?
Cancelation Policy:
You are financially responsible for any event that
you register for, whether you attend or not, unless you
give at least 48 hours notice of your
cancellation/inability to attend. In this case, you will
be refunded any paid fees. However if you cancel your
registration 48 hours or less prior to the event or if
you fail to attend the event, you are still financially
responsible for the registration fees for the event.
Substitution:
You may have someone take your place if you are
unable to attend and cannot cancel your registration in
time.
6. Besides by
invitation, can I register for an event another way?
Yes, the link to register will be posted on our
website: www.agarichmond.org. You will be taken to
Cvent’s registration site.
7. I attended
the event, but when I received my CPE Email, the
Certificate is not available. What do I do?
